A sweet, chewy marshmallow nougat packed with Odd Cookie Original Salted Caramel, freeze-dried strawberries, pistachios, and dried fruit. The kind of nostalgic treat that feels elevated and a little unexpected.
4 tbsp butter
2 cups mini marshmallows
⅓ cups plus 2 tbsp milk powder
1 bag Odd Cookie Original Salted Caramel
2 cups freeze-dried strawberry slices
3 tbsp dried cranberries
½ cups de-shelled pistachios
Line an 8” x 8” pan with parchment, leaving overhang. Measure all add-ins in advance, you’ll need to mix quickly while the nougat is warm.
Brown 4 tbsp of butter. Melt over medium heat until nutty and golden with brown bits (about 7–8 mins). Reduce heat to low immediately.
Add marshmallows to the browned butter over very low heat, stirring constantly until melted. Stir in milk powder in 3 additions until smooth.
Remove from heat and quickly fold in Odd Cookie Original Salted Caramel, freeze-dried fruit, dried fruit, and pistachios until evenly coated.
Press firmly into the lined pan (use a scraper for clean edges). Let cool completely, then remove and cut into bars and cubes.
